We have an exciting opportunity for an early career HR professional at our location in Wendell, NC.

As a People & Organization (HR) Business Partner at SIEMENS you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall People Experience at our growing Electrification & Automation (EA) business. You will be engaged in a wide range of people relations topics; foster understanding and adoption of HR policies and support our expanding workforce development programs and activities. In this role you will work closely with our HR Operations organization and will partner with the on-site and extended HR Business Partner teams.

  • People Relations: Proactively address and resolve routine issues arising in the workplace, working collaboratively with the Employee Relations team on people any issues requiring higher level of intervention or sensitivity

  • Policy Guidance: Provide guidance and interpretation of local HR operational policies, ensuring fair and consistent application across the organization

  • Performance Management: Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to local supervisors, assisting them in effectively managing and motivating their teams.

  • Training Delivery: Coordinate, communicate, and deliver training sessions, including supervisors and managers on various HR-related topics to promote continuous learning and development.

  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Partner with our EA Onboarding specialist, hiring managers, training managers and extended teams to create a positive onboarding and offboarding experience for our employees.

  • Coordination and Communication: Efficiently manage People-related requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution, while also facilitating effective mass communication of HR updates and reminders, especially for our Manufacturing workforce.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR support across various functional areas. Identify gaps in HR processes and collaborate with various functions within our ecosystem to provide solutions.

  • Support documentation inquiries : Provide Employment verification letters and invitation letters for travel abroad, Global Mobility related data and document requests as appropriate

  • Culture Ambassador : Promote and support our values and a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Basic Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources and/or Labor Relations OR 5 years of HR experience in lieu of degree.

  • 5+ years experience of foundational knowledge of employment laws & regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and leverage data to influence decision-making

  • 5+ years experience in coaching managers and supervisors on People relations and performance improvement topics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including an ability to create v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.

  • General skill in the use of technology and digital tools

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need of sponsorship now OR in the future

  • Ability to work onsite M-F at our Wendell, NC site

Preferred Requirements

  • Preference for candidates with experience working in a manufacturing/operational environment

  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

  • The pay range for this position is $72,400 - $124,100 and the annual incentive target is 10% of your base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
