This is a portfolio management S&R role within the Smart infrastructure operating company, EP business unit under product management. It is a global HQ function, located within the Segment IAA (India, ASEAN and Africa) and focusing on defining our strategy and promoting our company positions in industry codes and standards activities for the IAA Segment.

Monitor with your IAA expert community all relevant codes and standards activities that may impact our Segment’s business to assure our interests are considered.

Your Skills are required

• 3+ years’ experience (5+ years preferred) in the application, design, and manufacture of electrical distribution equipment

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field

• Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering preferred

• Ability to influence and work with others both outside and inside the company

• Capabilty to understand the linkage between standards and business impact

• Strategic thinking including the capability to present strategies in a simple way

• Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area of expertise.

• Ability to understand residential, commercial, and industrial business markets

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with customers, vendors, employees, and industry peers.

• Confidentiality – assignments may involve working with representatives from competitors

• Team player who works well in a collaborative work environment

• 10% international travel required

• Knowledge of Electrical Products Business Unit or related products in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Codes

• Standards

• Applications

• Design

• Manufacturing

• Familiarity with IEC, UL ,BIS and other Standards Development Organization (SDO) standards
