As a Service PLM Engineer for Protection & Automation, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing services for existing protection and automation products in the market. This role requires continuous development and adjustment of service offerings to ensure maximum value and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for the strategy and management of discontinued products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Management for Installed Products: Develop and optimize service offerings for existing protection and automation systems. Implement upgrades, maintenance plans, and troubleshooting services to maximize product performance and reliability.

• Lifecycle Management of Discontinued Products: Develop and implement strategies for the end-of-life of products, including spare parts management, last time buys, and transition plans to newer technologies.

• Customer Interaction and Support: Direct interaction with customers to create customized service packages tailored to specific needs and situations. Provide technical support and advice to customers on maintaining and upgrading their systems.

• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with product management, R&D, sales, and technical support to ensure that service offerings and end-of-life strategies are effectively implemented.

• Market and Competitive Analysis: Regularly assess the market and competitors to identify opportunities for improved or new service offerings.

• Training and Documentation: Create and update training materials and technical documentation for internal teams and customers to enhance understanding and handling of our products.

• Risk and Compliance Management: Monitor compliance requirements and risk factors associated with installed and discontinued products, developing appropriate risk mitigation measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Technology, or a related technical field.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of protection and automation technology.

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering and automation systems.

• Experience in product lifecycle management and in developing service offerings.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical content.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

This role requires a strong customer focus and the ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and technologies
