Role and Responsibilities:

Bid Management:

Lead the end-to-end bid management process.

Analyze bid documents and contracts to understand client requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, legal, finance) to ensure alignment on bid strategy and execution.

Contract Negotiation:

Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and capabilities.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and modify contract clauses as needed.

Financial Analysis:

Ability to understand and analyze bid costing, cashflows, profit margins, and risk assessment.

Proposal Development:

Coordinate the development of high-quality proposals, ensuring they are compliant with client requirements and address their pain points.

Oversee the preparation of proposal documentation, including executive summaries, technical specifications, pricing, and other relevant sections.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with bids and projects, including legal, financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify potential projects and understand market trends and client needs.

Analyze competitors' bids and strategies to develop a competitive advantage.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact between the company and clients during the bid process.

Communicate bid progress, updates, and clarifications to internal stakeholders and clients.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and organized bid documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Generate reports on bid performance, including win/loss analysis and lessons learned.

Compliance and Ethics:

Ensure all bids and proposals adhere to legal and ethical standards, including compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant contractual laws and regulations

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Proven experience in bid management, project management, or related roles.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

Proficient in using bid management software, SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
