Siemens Smart Infrastructure's Smart Building Solutions unit seeks an experienced BMS Pre-Sales Engineer in the ASEAN region. This role involves ensuring high-quality Building Management System solution proposal and pricing. As a part of Siemens, the position provides the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a high-growth environment, collaborating with diverse teams and contributing to business growth in Singapore and other ASEAN countries. The role is based in Malaysia, with anticipated travel within the ASEAN region.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Responsible in Building Management System bid design and estimation.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Manager in bid estimation.

  • Collaborate with regional technical support team to provide Technical Support& Bidding Support.

  • Drive Building Management System/Digital Community within the ASEAN region.

  • Development and alignment of Building Management System/Digital strategy in alignment with Business Line Head

  • Support handing over of solutions to Project Execution team.

  • Work with various approved vendors to formulate the overall solutions.

  • Continuous improvement in bid estimation competence in the local organizations.

You’ll win us over by:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the similar field

  • Sound technical knowledge for Building Management System related industry.

  • Has good experience in design & estimating both green and brown field projects (replacing/upgrading the systems).

  • Knowledge in Autocad and Visio

  • Ability to work with people at all levels and from different cultures and backgrounds.

  • Good work ethics and good results orientation.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communicator who is independent, resourceful, and analytical.
