Established in September 1993, Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai (SSLS) was jointly invested by Siemens AG and Shanghai Electric Company and is now subordinate to the leadership of Siemens SI EA business unit.

SSLS is located in Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 5 hectares. It is committed to the design, production, sales, and after-sales service of 6-40.5kV medium voltage air insulated switchgears. Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai has nearly 500 employees and produces over 38000 vacuum circuit breakers and 12000 medium voltage switchgears annually. The medium voltage switch products produced here have been widely used in industrial fields such as power supply, oil and gas, ships, automobiles, metallurgy and mining, electronics and electrical engineering in China, as well as in infrastructure fields such as airports, hospitals, buildings, data centers, and transportation.

You’ll make an impact by

Perform the daily tasks in Operational BA department:

  • Operate SAP: create sales order and project, do delivery and billing in SAP, cost run, calculate actual project cost, and ensure accurate data.

  • Project control: in charge of project commercial affair from project income to project billing, such as create project in SAP, down payment/process payment tracking, delivery, billing, sales planning etc. Ensure all project under control.

  • Operate OGT: refer to order intake information, set "offer won" for the offer in OGT; Weekly pending offer tracking.

  • Filling: refer to order intake information / billing document / delivery document, filling the related document according to the working process of CoC BA. Safety document filling.

  • Support export control, i.e. gain specific knowledge and training on Export control process of Siemens. Support daily operation of Export control check and coordinate with sales.

  • Support company Risk and internal control management as coordinator with relevant departments.

  • Support manufacturing partner management in cooperation with Sales team.

  • Support department efforts for digital transformation, e.g. reporting tools, process automation, etc.

Provide backup support to General Management Office including:

  • Support the efficient administration of daily work in GMO, e.g. GMO’s signature management, company chop management, visitor reception, written/verbal translation, GMO office admin, etc.

  • Facilitate smooth communications between GMO and all internal / external parties.

Your defining qualities

  • 1 year experience related business administration / controlling working experience in manufacturing companies.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance / Accounting / BA related is preferred.

  • Fluency in both spoken English and written English.

  • Skillful usage of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook. experienced in data analysis (e.g. Power BI) is preferred.

  • Good SAP knowledge is preferred. Experience with visualization tools like power BI preferred.

  • General understanding of Siemens Products and Markets, knowledge of MV products will be value added.

  • Have teamwork spirit, initiative, prudent and earnest.
