Responsibilities:

• Leads and maintains detailed and comprehensive records of engineering changes.

• Leads RCA (root cause analysis) to determine that products perform in the intended manner per the proper certification standard. (UL / NOM / IEC, etc).

• Implement cost reduction projects.

• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing and Production to fulfil technical requirements and assure project implementation on time.

• Create and test prototypes.

• Design using NX or ProE Creo software, select materials and surface finish, create drawings.

• Mechanical simulation.

• Generate prints, publish Bill of Materials (BOM), hold tooling and component design reviews, provide management updates, resolution to PPAPs and deviation requests.

• Support production line to improve FPY, Quality (NCCs), Product delivery on time.

What will you need to succeed?

• Mechanical engineer or related discipline

• At least 6 months of experience in similar positions

• English Advanced

• Basic mechanical design, tolerance analysis and statistics.

• Knowledge of materials standars (ASTM, DIN ISO, ANSI, etc.)
