Position Overview:

To support our growing business, we are looking for a Finance Manager in Sacramento, California!

The Rolling Stock business unit is the North American market leader in the production of passenger rail vehicles. As a leader within the organization, the Finance Manager plays a key role in driving process improvement and advancing commercial topics.

The successful candidate will add value by ensuring financial accuracy and integrity, leading key projects, presenting KPI’s, and acting as a trusted commercial partner to Senior Management.

What your day may look like:

  • Prepare Operations forecasts and budgets for Opex, Free cash flow and headcount.

  • Line management responsibility for three direct reports.

  • Manage capital investments and inventory related topics.

  • Preparing financial reports and presenting to Senior Management.

  • Ensure financial guidelines are adhered to and audit controls complete.

  • Generate ideas and take ownership for implementing new ways to improve processes.

  • Liaise and build strong collaboration with internal and external functions.

  • Lead ad-hoc projects to improve the business on commercial topics.

What will make you successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.

  • Experience in Finance / Operations Finance, preferably 5+ years.

  • Proven track record of digitalization or automation projects.

  • Proficiency with SAP and MS applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.

The base salary for this position is $132,400-$178,600. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
