Becoming a technical manager in Engineering means coordinating a highly skilled team of specialists across several subject areas and countries, taking ownership for implementing customer requirements, and crafting appropriate solutions. We have and continue to develop a great technical product - the Vectron platform locomotive , of which more than 1,500 units are currently in operation across Europe. Are you interested in leading a project team, coordinating activities related to the development of software for the most modern locomotives? Then we are looking for you!

Main responsibilities:

• Technical management of multidisciplinary international project teams focused on engineering with a main emphasis on the Vectron platform

• Planning and defining project activities, project milestones, and supervising schedule compliance

• Team coordination of development related to the processing of individual SW versions of the vehicle

• Management of the development of new and modified vehicle control system functions considering approval and homologation processes

• Response to new technical and approval requirements within the development of new functions, including customer, platform, and regulatory requirements

• Calculation of hour requirements, controlling, and reporting of completed tasks

• Cooperation and support in the testing and approval of vehicles across Europe, both in the laboratory and on the test track

• Communication with project management, other project managers, production, and test engineers

Key qualifications:

• Higher education in electrical engineering

• Experience in software development

• Practical experience in project management - in terms of technical project management in development

• English and Czech language for everyday professional work

• Systematic, careful approach and the ability to see things in context

• Time flexibility for business trips, especially to Germany (Munich, Erlangen)
