We are looking for a Quality and EHS Manager for our Pomona, CA Manufacturing facility.

As a Quality Manager with one of the world’s most respected manufacturers of Low Voltage Products, you will lead Siemen’s Quality & EHS function to ensure successful delivery of business strategy and operational goals. You will encourage the team to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery, while facilitating continuous improvement and achieving commercial success. You will be part of providing solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Quality & EHS functions including Training, Supplier Quality, Quality Control Plan (i.e., criteria for In-Process Quality, Nonconformance investigations, KPIs and ISO certifications etc.)

  • Grow the Safety & Quality team through hiring and development with a focus on sustainability, product quality and location safety.

  • Ensure that safety & quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of Safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

  • Provide the department with leadership to support critical initiatives.

  • Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly, taking the lead for the mitigation actions with other Siemens teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics).

  • Collaborate with other Siemens business teams and external partners to implement Safety & quality improvements.

  • Establish Safety & Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities.

  • Establish and supervise the implementation of training standards and procedures

You will win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of quality management, or transferable leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED required;

  • Ability to travel 5%

  • Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development (Growth Mindset approach)

  • Ability to build a culture that promotes a team environment

  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills in English

  • Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution

  • Experience in Power Distribution business or similar industries in energy business preferred

  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

  • Experience with ISO:9001, ISO:45001 or ISO:14001 preferred

  • Lean/Six Sigma or ASQ certifications preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial Engineering preferred.

  • The pay range for this position is $158k-$200K with a 15% incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
