We are looking for a Financial Analyst. This position will be based at Pomona, CA.

Role Description:

  • Take ownership of all financial aspects of our plant in Pomona, CA through a robust growth phase and beyond. Support an expansion project currently in execution.

  • Partner closely with the Plant Controller to ensure financial transparency and accuracy, execute internal controls, report, analyze, plan, forecast, monitor, and adhere to KPIs while fostering collaboration with finance teams within and outside the plant.

  • Review and analyze financial statements pre- and post-month-end close. Prepare and post necessary accruals.

  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights to management.

  • Play a key role in the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets, conducting in-depth variance analysis, summarizing results, and explaining outcomes using profit bridges.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, engineering teams, etc., to understand business drivers and support operational decisions.

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations for process improvements, product costing, and operational efficiencies.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new initiatives and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

  • Take charge of productivity and savings calculations, reviewing results, ensuring reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Track and evaluate CAPEX projects, including ROI analysis and post-implementation reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and accurate reporting of CAPEX spend.

  • Drive all other ad-hoc finance initiatives and contribute to strategic plant initiatives.

  • Coordinate with other locations to share knowledge and implement best practices effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial statement analysis and modeling

  • Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system

  • Ability to work with other functional teams across levels and communicate financial information and requirements

  • Self-starter with critical thinking abilities to identify potential improvement Execute on those opportunities with minimal guidance and supervision

  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Knime, UiPath or any other automation and visualization tool is a plus.

  • The pay range for this position is $79,400 - $130,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
