Imagine planning and coordinating rail vehicle development projects in a team of approximately 1,800 employees. Does that sound like an exciting challenge?

If you want to collaborate and communicate with the top management of Siemens Mobility Engineering not only in the Czech Republic and Germany but also with colleagues in Spain, Serbia, India, Hungary, and other countries, then we are looking for you!

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee project calculation processes, data management, and capacity planning within the team across all locations (CZ, DE, SR, HU, IN, EN, SK) for regional and high-speed transport products, metros, and trams.

  • Collaborate closely with the management of individual segments in the Rolling Stock area and Engineering departments on planning strategies, defining boundary conditions, and implementing a list of key projects for the next planning period.

  • Supervise the planning process in the internal tool Sascia.

  • Conduct final reviews of results together with relevant managers and the Business Administration department.

  • Analyze planning results, identify deviations and errors, and set up corrective measures.

  • Support data migration between Sascia versions.

  • Prepare and define final reports for each planning phase, and create individual reports and scenarios based on various management priorities.

  • Support and train users of planning tools.

What you need to succeed:

  • University degree (technical/IT field).

  • Experience in capacity planning for large projects.

  • Experience in streamlining planning processes, preferably in Engineering or development.

  • Interest in product development and the key aspects of successful development.

  • Proficiency in English and Czech for professional work; knowledge of German is an advantage.

  • Structured expression, strategic thinking, and the ability to find compromises.

  • Ability to argue factually and critically, with assertive communication.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, and knowledge of MS Dynamics is an advantage.

  • Interest in IT tools—not programming, but testing, making optimization suggestions, improvements, etc.
