Role Summary :

The Global Tax Delivery Consultant supports the tax delivery processes and compliance adherence for tax topics for international employee movement. Regional and Global responsibility include the clarification of principles and operational processes to ensure compliant taxation for all cross-border travelling employees while keeping the customer business needs and requirements in mind. The Global Tax Delivery Consultant leverages intuitive, customer friendly IT solutions through compliance-focused operations and defines country-specific processes. In this role, you will work remotely from a home office.

Key Role Responsibilities :

  • Drive and execute strategic GMM priorities while collaborating across different stakeholder groups to align and strengthen our value creation as a technology focused provider for all customers.

  • Execute global and regional operational processes for tax standards complying with legislative changes and legal developments in the Global Mobility landscape.

  • Conduct independent examination of cross-border assignments to ensure compliance in individual taxation (and social security).

  • Develop solutions for individuals and employer’s tax positions with the focus of standardizing global processes and operations.

  • Contribute Tax and Digitalization expertise supporting global and regional GMM operations.

  • Act as the face of GMM IT to interface between all IT Partners and other GMM teams.

  • Serve as a point of contact for all GMM internal departments in any topics related to personal income tax and social security compliance.

  • Manage internal projects and related activities with the focus on individual tax compliance.

  • Monitor legislative developments globally with personnel deployment and adapt processes accordingly.

  • Monitor markets, analyze potential of digitalization and technical improvements in the competency area including clear communication to all operational teams.

  • Monitor and address compliance relevant risks throughout daily operations by leveraging automation.

  • Support and contribute to relevant merger, acquisition, and divesture projects.

  • Additionally, you ensure that GMM’s service delivery is not only aligned to current customer needs and the GMM IT landscape but also in line with market innovations and latest trends.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 3 years leading large-scale digitalization and data analytics projects in a multicultural environment, including managing senior stakeholders, preferably in Global Mobility.

  • Experience in digital process improvement projects, including implementing new tools and upgrades.

  • Advanced understanding of Global Mobility Services and associated industry solutions.

  • Experience in change management for process and organizational changes.

  • Business fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Int’l) Business Management, HR or related field.

  • Professional experience in process optimization using technology in a global company.

  • Experience leading large-scale tax and data analytics projects in a multicultural environment, including stakeholder management, preferably in Global Mobility.

  • Proven track record in process improvement projects, including implementing new tools and managing ecosystem upgrades.

  • Strong background in change management (accompanying process and organizational changes) and project management.

  • Assessment and implementation of market out-of-the-box technologies.

The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $101,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
