What part will you play?
As general contractor, we planned and delivered the conveyor technology in the final assembly of the VW CRAFTER plant in Wrzesnia / Poland as a turnkey project. Take a look for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkj-IYKoPyE
As a senior project manager you will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing entire line projects for our well-known customers in the automotive industry worldwide.
You will support our customers with your project team on site right from the proposal phase, giving you a feel for the customer's needs
From the decision of an investment to implementation planning and installation through to production ramp-up, you will play a key role and use your expertise to ensure the successful final acceptance of the system
You lead project teams consisting of several sub-project managers and specialists and manage the work processes in a targeted and efficient manner
You will also take on planning tasks such as process optimization, method planning and costing
What you need to make real what matters.
You have successfully completed degree in an engineering field, e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar field of study.
You have many years of professional experience in project management and have extensive experience in implementing large-scale series production in the automotive industry
As a result, you have extensive professional knowledge in areas such as steel construction, conveyor, assembly, testing and automation technology as well as experience in leading project teams
Your good technical understanding of mechanics, automation technology and production processes helps you to communicate with customers on a high level
You have proven the interest and ability to work in intercultural teams as well as international/cross-border projects and are willing to participate in overseas project assignments of 3-12 months, with the possibility of a temporary delegation to Siemens offices overseas.
You are proficient in spoken/written English & German. Additional languages are also an advantage.
You ideally have PM@Siemens certification
