Your future role.

  • You are responsible for the consolidation of the consolidated financial statements and work on the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and external reporting (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements).

  • You are responsible for the execution, implementation and optimization of the consolidation processes and quality assurance.

  • The content and procedural support of the domestic and foreign group companies with questions regarding the preparation of financial statements (IFRS and HGB) is part of your job.

  • You also have group-wide responsibility for selected accounting and valuation guidelines.

  • You work on specialist projects, such as optimizing consolidation and reporting systems or purchase price allocations in the context of company acquisitions.

  • Ensuring the correct application of accounting guidelines and processing accounting issues in the context of ad hoc requests from management.

  • You are the contact person for auditors and internal departments.

Your profile.

  • You have completed a degree in economics or comparable training (e.g. accountant (m/f/d)) with the relevant specialist knowledge.

  • You have long-term professional experience in group accounting (consolidation) and/or at an auditing firm.

  • Sound knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB sets you apart.

  • You have experience in dealing with consolidation software (CCH Tagetik is an advantage), user knowledge of SAP FI and the confident use of MS Office applications are desirable.

  • Your way of working is characterized by initiative, reliability, and results orientation.

  • Your strengths include analytical and conceptual thinking as well as a proactive way of working, which enables you to understand complex issues in a short time without losing sight of the big picture.

  • Even in stressful phases, e.g. during individual graduations, you keep a cool head and can deal with deadlines and time pressure.

  • Thanks to your strong communication skills in German and English, you also enjoy working with international colleagues.
