The role.

• Review the monthly/quarterly/yearly tax filing and tax payments to ensure tax compliance.

• Advise on the Chinese tax and TP issues in the business operations to assure tax compliance and tax optimization.

• Lead the tax benefit application process to ensure tax beneficiary treatments are properly achieved.

• Identify tax planning opportunities, conduct analysis, and execute the plan by cooperation with business to assure the best compliant tax position.

• Identify tax risk and take mitigation measures.

• Review contracts to control the tax risk and assure the best tax position.

• Keep updated with China tax laws and regulations.

• Coordinate with HQ tax function in terms of international tax issues.

• Communicate with tax authority on the technical issues, tax assessments and tax audits.

• Cooperate with internal counterparts on tax issues.

• Manage work of external advisors to ensure the deliverables with high quality and proper understanding on business operation.

Your profile.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, legal or equivalent; Mater degree preferred.

• At least 7-year experience in Chinese tax compliance and tax advisory in big 4 or MNCs.

• Significant tax and financial knowledge, and experience on direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and tax accounting.

• Strong sense of responsible, proactive, and dedicated.

• Team-work spirit.

• Good communication and negotiation skill.

• Sound project management skills.

• Proficient in written/spoken English and Chinese.
