The mission.

The Sales Data Domain Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and utilization of sales data within the organization. The role involves developing and implementing strategies, leading a team of data experts, and collaborating with stakeholders to make sure that data is accurate, accessible, and usable. The position holder will play a pivotal role in leveraging data insights to drive sales effectiveness, improve decision-making, and optimize business performance. The role has the mandate for DI and leads, coordinates, and aligns Siemens wide activities as part of the Sherpa X Data Management program.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!

  • Develop and execute data strategies that align with sales goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with sales teams and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.

  • Oversee the collection, integration, and maintenance of sales data from various sources and business stakeholders.

  • Manage and oversee the documentation of data flows within the end-to-end sales processes to ensure efficient data management and alignment with business objectives.

  • Provide guidance and support in data management and analysis activities.

  • Implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Design and develop data models to support sales performance tracking and analysis.

  • Identify gaps or areas for improvement in the end-to-end sales processes based on the analysis of data flows, data consistency and data quality.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to sales data management and analytics.

  • Provide training and support to sales teams in utilizing data tools and platforms effectively.

What you need to make real what matters.

To be successful in this role, you have strong expertise in data management and have already worked closely with sales and marketing departments. You understand the complex requirements of a multichannel B2B sales organization and are able to derive, design, and implement optimal data strategies.

  • Successfully completed master´s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.

  • Long years proven experience in data management, preferably in a sales or marketing domain.

  • Solid understanding of data management principles, data flow visualization, database systems, ETL processes, and data integration technologies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Familiarity with data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and best practices.

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics platforms, and sales performance tracking tools.

  • You act as a role model in leading and managing teams and know how to empower and guide your team and partners.

  • You can effectively communicate sophisticated data concepts to non-technical partners.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
