Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support our Rail Infrastructure Passenger team in Pittsburgh, to implement sophisticated, innovative, and sustainable signaling and train control systems across the US.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Managing highly complex projects that use pioneering technologies to make mass transit routes in the US safe. These are often combined projects (up to $100M in volume) that include railroad signaling technology/railroad automation and communication technology.

  • Be responsible for economic success and customer satisfaction by ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

  • Ability to form your project team (resource planning), set up efficient project structures (project planning), and manage the highly complex project execution.

  • With the commercial project management team, track goals and achievements, adjust them as necessary, and ensure comprehensive project control.

  • Lead the management of suppliers and subcontractors, representing an essential part of the project volume.

  • Provide transparent reporting and metrics to our customers, management, and executive board to provide insight into project status, risks, opportunities, financial health, and schedule.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of solid experience in project management of complex software, transportation, or mobility industry projects

  • PMP or PM@Siemens certification (or equivalent) will be a plus.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, and leadership skills.

  • Willingness to travel in the US and internationally (business trips)

The base salary range for this position in Homestead, PA is $128,700 - $174,200. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary .
