GBS (Global Business Services) focuses on value creation and innovative services that enables our customers to accelerate their business transformation. In RPO (Regional Process Office) we are focused on process improvement and digitalization of internal business processes for local customers in Mexico and at a regional level. You will create solutions to enable digitalization and make processes faster, leaner and more digital.

You could work across all companies in Siemens Mexico (sales, finance, factories) and interact with our global community in a high collaborative environment.

What are my responsibilities?

• Develop solutions for our customers (workflows & dashboards & low code applications)

• Creation of data models & smart reports using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc in time, quality and budget.

• Data Mapping from multiple platforms such as SQL, SharePoint, Excel in an efficient way

• Support for creation and maintenance of existing Databases

• Contribute on identification of new digital transformation opportunities by analyzing processes and assessing technical feasibility with the consultants and the process owners

• Participate in process optimization & design workshops as part of an agile project team

• Support our internal improvement, idea and innovation programs

• Create and maintain design documentation to support development activities

• Evaluation of other Business Intelligence applications in the market and benchmarking

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Systems, Computing Sciences)

• Advanced English Proficiency (B1-B2)

• Tableau or PowerBI experience know-how

• Experience in KNIME, Alteryx or any other data analytics platform is a Plus.

• Knowledge in Visual Basic and Macro (VBA) development and MS Power Platform

• Knowledge with API, SQL, Java, Low code platforms (Mendix) is preferred.

• Having basic knowledge on algorithms, workflow based logic and coding,

• Use of MS Visio and Lean/Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred)

• Customer and results oriented, Self-driven, facility to work with several stakeholders and different work environments.

What will you need to succeed?

• Statistical analysis experience is a strong advantage

• Continuously searching for trends of new ways to visualize the data

• Previous experience executing projects and root cause analysis

• Inspired by new technology implementation and driving changes across organization,

• Being a early adapter and proactive

• Ability to work collaboratively with the international project members.
