We are the Cloud Team in the IT department of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. We are a team of Cloud professionals that operates Cloud Infrastructure and common services for Application Teams. We are looking for a team player who has experience with AWS and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Your mission will be…

  • You will be a member of our “AWS team” that designs, develops, and operates cloud infrastructure and cloud services on top of Amazon Web Services

  • You will be a member of an agile team with DevOps engineers, a Product Owner, an Architect and a Scrum Master

  • You will work with the team in designing, developing and operating cloud infrastructure and services – primarily with Terraform, GitLab and Ansible

  • You will be part of our journey to automate the configuration and deployment of all our services

  • Working with and supporting our internal customers during business hours

  • Troubleshoot incident and execute root cause analysis in case of incidents

  • Contribute to improvements, work with the team on defining and establishing new service offerings

  • Participate in the long-term planning and development of the team

We are looking for someone with…

  • At least 3 years of experience in in cloud development

  • Knowledge of and experience with AWS

  • Experience with IT operations

  • Experience with Git, Terraform, Ansible, and other DevOps tools like GitLab

  • Comfortable with operating and automating Linux systems and/or Windows system

  • Keen to learn new things and tackle challenges around cloud and automation

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Thriving in a team, enjoys learning from others and sharing knowledge with others

  • Advanced level in written and spoken English
