At Innomotics, we supply motors and the full range of variable speed drives as well as complete systems to rotating equipment OEMs and end clients in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Steel industries. We're currently recruiting for our new EHS Advisor to join our team!

This role will cover both our Manchester site (Didsbury) and our site in Handforth Dean with occasional support to customer or project sites in the UK (no international travel, though the occasional attendance at meetings or conferences may include overnight stays with expenses provided). We are open to flexible working arrangements when appropriate.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Auditing to ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) Standards

  • Workplace Inspections and Internal Audit Programme ownership

  • Reporting on annual EHS KPI set within the management review

  • Compliance Investigation and Reporting on Risk Internal Controls

  • Supporting both the Manchester (Office) and Handforth Dean (Workshop)

  • Incident Investigation and Support

What we're looking for:

  • An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial. Post graduate with an EHS/ Risk management related qualification desirable.

  • Experience of working within a EHS role would be beneficial but not required.

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Enjoys problem solving

  • Good key stakeholder management skills and advising at a senior level

  • Good IT skills using Microsoft and third party applications

  • The ability to work with what may be confidential information

  • A process-driven approach that can work with and implement the requirements of documented processes and standards
