Siemens Financial Analyst 4 in Malvern, Pennsylvania

This Financial Analyst 4 position will be responsible for providing accounting/controlling support for the Support Functions within Siemens Healthineers Accounting Functions Controlling (SHS AC FC MA FC) organization to ensure those Support Functions achieve their targeted financial goals. These controlling functions include budgeting, forecasting, complex variance analysis, cost monitoring, management reporting, and allocations to the Business Areas/Business Lines. This role will require effective collaboration with other team members and stakeholders within the Support Functions and Business Areas/Lines and strict adherence to deadlines/deliverables, while balancing the need for accuracy and efficiency throughout all aspects of the work. Specific responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working knowledge of varioussystems (e.g. SAP, OneSRM, EZ-Suite) and processes utilized to perform thefunctions

  • Complete monthly closingactivities, including charging the Business Areas/Business Lines, in a timely,accurate manner

  • Prepare for monthly financialreviews with assigned Support Function cost center owners and Department Heads

  • Prepare budgets and monthlyforecasts for the assigned Support Functions

  • Ensure compliance with Companypolicies and relevant Accounting standards

  • Participate in special ad hoc assignmentsand projects (e.g. Business Area/Business Line allocation analysis, monthlysupport for SMS Factories forecast submissions, annual support for SMSvaluations, etc.)

  • Reporting and Forecast accuracy

  • Financial performance of assignedSupport Functions

Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

  • High energy level with a hands-onapproach in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent problem solving,diagnosis and analytical skills

  • Strong systems aptitude andproficiency, including expert Excel and SAP skills and strong proficiency withPower Point

  • Demonstrated ability to identifyand define issues, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions

  • Excellent organizational skillswith ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attentionto detail

  • Effective communication skills withability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats

  • Strong Accounting background withability to understand and navigate complex accounting topics

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting orrelated degree with minimum of 5-10 years’ experience infinance/controlling/accounting

  • Confident, self-starter withability to work with minimal direction
