Your future role:

Join our international team of Cybersecurity Experts. In your role as Senior Cybersecurity Expert for Asset Protection you will identify and minimize Cybersecurity-related risks in corporate IT Assets across a variety of technologies. You will also set the quality standards for our Expert Team on Asset Protection.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• For our Cybersecurity Business Partner organization, we are looking for a committed Senior Cybersecurity Expert with focus on Asset Protection.

• Support Siemens’ Corporate Units incl. IT on incorporating Cybersecurity requirements into holistic Protection Concepts for their IT Assets.

• Review the quality of Protection Concepts, assess residual risks for the organization and verify feasibility of risk mitigation plans based on the Siemens Asset Classification & Protection (ACP) process.

• Set the quality standards for our Expert Team on Asset Protection to ensure risks are properly identified, documented and mitigated across Siemens’ Corporate Units.

• Work closely together with relevant stakeholders in Siemens’ Corporate Units, IT and Cybersecurity to continuously improve protection of critical assets.

• Drive further standardization, digitalization and automation in alignment with other Siemens departments on process and related tools to gain efficiency, effectiveness and consistent quality.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• University degree (Master) in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or similar.

• Multiple years of practical experience in the field of Cybersecurity – ideally proven by a certification such as CISSP, CISM or CCSP.

• Profound knowledge and practical experience in various IT Security domains as well as technologies such as Network Security, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management & System Hardening, Encryption, Authentication & Authorization, Zero Trust and others.

• Profound knowledge on the Siemens Asset Classification & Protection (ACP) process and related tooling preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, self-confident appearance towards internal stakeholders and an open mindset for change and innovation.

• Eagerness to continuously learn and develop yourself, to trustfully collaborate in a highly motivated international team and to work safely in virtual environments.

• Business-fluent English language skills in speaking and writing are obligatory.
