We are on the lookout for an innovative and effective Communications Business Partner (BP) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a BP, you'll be an expert for internal and external communications, providing invaluable support to the Business Units (BUs) within the UKI region for Siemens Mobility. Reporting directly to the UKI Head of Communications, you'll have the opportunity to build and define impactful campaigns, strategic plans, and budgets alongside a dedicated team of communications professionals both in the UK and globally. Your role will be pivotal, working closely with the leadership team to transform essential business messages into compelling communications. This role is based in our London Lantern office, where you will normally be for at least 3 days per week. There will also be some travel to sites around the UK.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Protecting and enhancing the Siemens brand and reputation, delivering communications that support Siemens Mobility's UKI business strategy.

  • Providing senior counsel and strategic advice to UKI business leaders on how communications can achieve business objectives.

  • Developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns, including messaging, budgets, and plans for projects, products, solutions, and bids.

  • Leading communications across media relations, government engagement, social and digital media, and executive positioning.

  • Acting as a crisis communications liaison, monitoring and addressing potential issues with local and global colleagues.

  • Collaborating with regional and global Communications teams to share best practices and align with the global communications strategy.

Your success will be grounded by

  • Being educated to degree level or equivalent, with specific communications-related experience.

  • Having a growth mindset.

  • Possessing a good understanding of communications challenges in a diverse matrix organization.

  • Being fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrating expertise in a broad range of communications fields, including traditional, social, and digital media, marcomms, crisis communications, internal communications, and employee engagement.

  • Showcasing strong influencing and collaboration skills.
