Senior Primary Design Engineer – Lahore or Karachi, Pakistan

Join us as Senior Primary Design Engineer and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a more inquisitive place for tomorrow.

You‘ll make an impact by:

• Primary Engineering and Design of HV Indoor/Outdoor, AIS/GIS Substations up to 500kV.

• Design of Substation Layout and Cross Section.

• Design of substation control building layout.

• Design of foundation and trench layout.

• Design of Earthing and Lightning protection system of the substation.

• Static and dynamic loading calculations and effect of electro-mechanical forces in substation.

• Cable Engineering including voltage drop, ampacity, short circuit calculations and laying details.

• Substation hardware connectors selection and connection details.

• Conductor and Earthing shield wire sag calculations.

• Ensure consistency by chairing design reviews and adhering to design specifications.

Your success is grounded in

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from reputable University or College.

• Previous Experience in Primary Engineering (5+ years).

• Fully conversant with the latest standards and technologies on Primary Engineering / Design of HV Substations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D Modeling.

• Analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Very good communication skills rounded by a very good level of English.
