Head of Contract Management will be part of Business Unit Transmission Solutions, which is responsible for execution and completion of Grid Stations projects in line with time, cost, and quality requirements of the contract.

You‘ll make an impact by:

• Be responsible for contract preparation, its risk evaluation, and management of contract claims during project execution. He will ensure timely and efficient resolution starting with analysis and evaluation until contract closure and upon fulfillment of all contractual obligations.

• Together with the PMs, proactively setting up a contract and claim management process in the project

• Be responsible for management of claims to/ from Clients, Contractors, Suppliers, Consortium Partners

• Ensure mitigation of risks, assist in the resolution of suppliers queries, review/comment of supplier deliverables and will determine as to whether a change shall be considered as a Variation Order (VO)

• Assist in preparing the financial aspect of the Variation Negotiation with CPMs

• Be responsible for gathering the necessary documentation for a claim Extension of Time or for the initial technical proposal

• Provide contractual analysis and advice to project team on matters concerning contractual obligations, contract risk, and claim management in collaboration with legal department.

• Monitor claim-relevant events within project execution

• Keep claim-relevant records, and establish and conduct claim tracking and reporting

• Compile claim documentation / claim defense documentation and provide support to the Project Managers and Financial Project Manager for contractual issues

• Provide support to the Procurement Department in negotiation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders

• Perform according to the Business Conduct Guidelines/ Siemens’ internal procedures and support in establishing a culture of trust and integrity

Your success is grounded in

• Degree in Engineering/ Finance and related areas

• 10-12 years’ experience in Contract and Claim Management of construction projects

• Good knowledge of Commercial, Civil and Public Procurement Law (legal, environment, taxation, etc) and general contractual standards

• Proficient in MS Office

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Fluency (Verbal and Written) in English
