As Strategic Procurement Professional,

What part will you play?

  • Managing and sourcing Siemens global policies renewal processes in interaction with global office and Siemens Turkey's authorities.

  • Adoption of the global insurance strategies into Siemens A.Ş. and briefing business units about global policies coverage.

  • Detect local policy coverage needs and conducting purchasing activities for the best appropriate local policy coverage needed.

  • Conducting renewal process of health insurance policy with local broker and providing information to HR partners.

  • Responsible to improve and update procedures and processes related to Siemens global and local policies to enable to have the appropriate and excellent insurance services delivery.

  • Reviewing insurance or broker invoices and investigating inconsistencies in the policy.

  • Assist the company in ensuring effective operation of the insurance services.

  • Assist in acquiring insurance coverage for Siemens existing or new projects, if needed.

  • Reporting/tracing claim files and conducting claim management process by gathering and informing concerned departments.

  • Prepare reports/briefings to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations with insurance companies and brokers.

  • Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategies of insurance purchasing activities.

  • Maintain continuous contact with internal/external partners in order to follow the market developments and exert the appropriate actions.

  • Conduct contract management to avoid risk and define concepts of risk to minimize the cost of risk.

  • Analyzing and identifying insurance needs of the departments/units according to their industry and possible risk management categories; and then developing tailor-made insurance solutions and programs, if needed.

  • Organize meetings with internal/external partners to inform divisions about policy utilization and coverage in order to maintain optimum benefit.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, administrative, including banking and/or insurance.

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Commodity Management preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience or equivalent education in related field (i.e. Supply Chain, Insurance Brokering)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written, oral and presentation) to optimally communicate with external suppliers, internal customers and teammates.

  • Ability to read and interpret insurance wordings, terms&conditions, market practices.

  • Very good command of English in speaking and writing is a must.
