Siemens Proposal Manager (E-House) in Istanbul, Turkey

For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Business Unit in Kartal, we are looking for a Proposal Manager in E-House (Prefabricated Electrical Substation Solution) Business.

This role will be responsible for preparing complete E-House offers and cost analysis based on Siemens Guidelines.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop, design and complete customer proposals in technical aspects.

  • Understands the customer requirements, reading specs and technical documentation

  • Completes technical analyses and supports proposal process at any stage as part of the sales team.

  • Performs drawing of E-House layout according to clearance distances/specifications by information of Siemens and 3rd party equipment.

  • Calculates heat dissipation, DC consumption, clearance distances etc.

  • Prepares the sales calculation, commercial offer letter and technical offer package within solution business.

  • Evaluates the project risks and opportunities.

  • Coordination of internal involved teams (MV&LV Proposal, engineering, PM etc. Teams)

  • Collection and evaluation of sup-supplier offers. Performs the review of task plans, drawings and installation schematics

  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical (Preferred) or Mechanical Engineering

  • Very good command of Turkish & English.

  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office Applications and Office 365

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal, project or site management, preferably in solution/turn key business.

  • Knowledge on engineering drawings in various voltage levels such as SLD, GA, wiring diagrams, Installation Dwgs, layout, integration and interface engineering etc.

  • Knowledge on MV and LV switchgear, UPS and battery systems, variable speed drives, transformers, SCADA, HVAC, fire alarm systems etc.

  • Engineering CAD knowledge is an asset.

  • No restriction to travel within Turkey and abroad.
