We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation Customer Services Team. You will have the opportunity to shape this brand-new role which is critical to our ambitious growth plans. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects which fall under the portfolio of EA Customer Services Business. You will have the opportunity to set up the new processes and business systems that will underpin your work.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and can confidently manage multiple service projects.

Location: Hebburn (Tyne and Wear). Hybrid working with the opportunity to work remotely for 2 days per week.

What are your responsibilities?

•Accept projects, manage project schedules, and key dates, to ensure projects are delivered on time and as per tendered scope to support wider business resource loading analysis and actively seeking to increase gross margin performance.

•Facilitate the project life cycle in line with the PM@ Siemens processes, establishing project quality controls, to the highest standards with compliance in all activities.

•Provide programs and resource / manpower requirements for Fields Team as required seeking advice as necessary.

•Management of customer requirements to increase the project scope through effective variation control to agreed terms & conditions of contract.

•Make full use of the Non-conformance reporting (NCR) tool ensuring all project related NCR’s are closed out in a timely manner and NCC are captured.

•Maintain and be responsible for high standards of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment - including reporting of all accidents, incidents and serious near misses, including any follow up investigations and actions as required.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

•Project Management qualification required.

•Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 applications including Project

•Experience and practical application of project management planning methodologies and tools essential.

•Experience of working within the engineering, electrical and/or construction industries preferred.

•High level organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing demands are essential.

•Curious about technologies

•Ability to develop relationships across functions.

•The ability to travel when required to attend meetings and support projects and cases at our various sites across the UK.

•The ability to set up new processes and tools is an advantage.

•An understanding of switchgear and protection devices is an advantage.
