Thisis a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next stepin their career. As a Shipping/Logistics Clerk in the Shipping Department, you will be responsible for :

  • Youwill create or prepare all documents needed for dispatch considering laws andregulations, in order to ensure a timely and cost-efficient delivery.

  • Youwill assemble and prepare in accordance with delivery priorities and agreementsfor dispatch, in order to design dispatch plans in the optimum way and meetcustomer requirements.

  • Youwill commission and distribute transportation services to (external) serviceproviders considering laws and regulations (export business, customs), in orderto guarantee a smooth and low-cost transport.

  • Youwill enter and maintain processing logistics data, in order to make the flow ofgoods secure and efficient.

  • Youwill actively maintain cooperation with all others involved and interface with partnerswhile passing on all the relevant information, in order to keep all partiesinformed and create an optimum logistics chain.

  • You have strong computer skills and experiencewith application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP.

  • Youhave the ability to lift, move, and organize material in amanufacturing/warehouse environment.

  • Youhave previous Shipping/Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Control experience.

  • Youhave previous experience with Powered Industrial Trucks.

  • Youhave strong communication skills and show team and customer orientation.

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role

  • HighSchool Diploma or its equivalent or the equivalent in related work experience.

  • Experiencein operating various material handling equipment (Including, but not limitedto, Reach Trucks, Forklifts and Order Pickers)

  • Knowledgeof ISO and OSHA Requirements preferred, but not required.

  • Musthave ability to lift, move, and organize material in a manufacturing/warehouseenvironment.
