This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Engineer,you will be responsible for :

  • You will troubleshoot, repair, andupgrade complex instruments.

  • You will provide assistance in avariety of engineering tasks

  • You will be part of the knowledgeexchange with our R&D team to improve and further develop our products

  • You will assist in troubleshooting,assembling, and retrofitting prototypes, and working with electrical andmechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics andtechnical drawings.

  • You will assist with engineeringrelated studies, processes, designs, inspections and/or quality audits,and assist in gathering, recording and maintaining engineering specificinformation.

This position may suit you best if you are familiarwith what is below, and would like to do develop your career withHealthineers

  • You have a familiarity withDiagnostic Healthcare instrumentation.

  • You have worked in an FDA regulatedfield,

  • You have good PC skills (MS Officesoftware like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

  • You have a “systems type” approachto troubleshooting, including the ability to discern between hardware,software, and system issues.

  • You have a willingness to travel,including short-term international deployment, is expected

  • You have the ability to work withyour customers to solve instrument issues.

  • You have very good presentationskills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation,communication skills and customer orientation

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalentexperience required in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, orBiomedical engineering

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as asystem troubleshooter, working in an R&D environment

  • Experience with Siemens HealthcareDiagnostic equipment

  • Willing to travel up to 20%,including international travel.
