Position Overview

  • The Healthineers Performance System (HPS)team within Siemens Healthineers is responsible for empowering theemployees of Siemens Healthineers to implement our strategy. HPS is acontinuous improvement business system used across Siemens Healthineers byits 50,000 employees.

  • As a HPS Coach you will be providingpractical training, consultancy, and coaching services to SiemensHealthineers employees globally on Lean methods, such as StructuredProblem Solving, Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management etc.

  • You will be one of 15 HPS Coachesworldwide and report to the Head of HPS Americas. The HPS Head of HPS Americas reports to the Head of HPS who is a memberof the Healthineers Executiveteam. You will work independently, partnering with R&D and ProductManagement Leaders across North America. Primary locations willbe Boston, MA, Tarrytown, NY, Flanders, NJ, Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, Philadelphia, PA and Chicago, IL

  • The HPS Product Lifecycle ManagementCoach team focuses on qualification of key enablers in core and advancedmethods of HPS with special focus on Innovation, Hardware and SoftwareDevelopment, Sustainment Engineering, and Product Portfolio Management.

  • You are responsible for a selected HPSadvanced method, with focus on those methods used to create and bring newproducts and services to the market.

  • You will be partnering with internalstakeholders (e.g. Research and Development Leaders and Product Managers)to understand business needs and thus set the base for development andmanagement of a selected HPS advanced methods.

  • You will be facilitating cross functionalimprovement events to address relevant business challenges and driveprofitable organic growth.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • You can have a remote office and liveanywhere in the US The job will entail up to 80% travel, depending onwhere you live.

  • Bachelor of Science degree inEngineering, Physics or Chemistry or alternatively a MBA with a bachelor’sdegree in Management

  • Proven Lean and/or Agile Managementskills

  • Extensive professional experience inprocess or management consulting, staff training, Business Excellence,and/ or Project Management

  • Experience in coaching of individuals,execution of training and knowledge transfer as well as profound andproven moderation skills

  • Experience in organizing and conductingimprovement workshops

  • Very good interpersonal and communicationskills you can effectively communicate across diverse businesses,cultures, and levels of leadership

PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Master of BusinessAdministration

  • Master of Science degree in Engineering,Physics or Chemistry

  • Experience in Lean Product Development isdesired

  • Professional experiences in innovation,development or management of products
