Your future role.

Can you help us reap the vast potential of the booming hydrogen market? Investments in this industry are expected to reach 6,5 trillion dollars by 2050. If you like to combine commercial skills with in-depth product understanding, this job might be the perfect fit for you. We can leverage more than 60 years experience in rectifier technologies and have tailored our technology to the hydrogen market.

• You carry in-depth technical know-how and experience on DC power supply for electrolysis or similar processes incl. know-how on associated key components, mainly rectifier and rectifier transformer.

• You actively drive technical developments, technical value streams and processes within your given field of expertise, i.e. solutions and components for DC power supply (rectifier technologies, rectifier transformers).

• You act as a consultant for our customers and internally, advise and participate in know-how exchange among Innomotics business units.

• Furthermore, you train and coach the organization on rectifier technologies, e.g. for developing competetive edge for offers, supporting product development by sharing market insights and customer feedback, support internal training of our Sales Force (Innomotics Academy), etc.

• You continuously follow technological developments on DC power supply for water electrolysis for green hydrogen production and feed the information into our R&D organization.

• Finally, you are visible and acknowledged in the scientific community e.g. by participating in conferences, symposia and by publishing research papers.

Your profile.

• You hold a master’s or PHD degree in electrical engineering.

• Additionally, you bring longterm experience within rectifier and/or drive technologies towards process industries or O&G market.

• Experience from electrolysis processes is a clear benefit.

• Experience in setting-up and conduct trainings would also be a benefit.

• The ability to switch between working independently and in teams, combined with social skills and the ability to communicate and influence, are part of your profile.

• You are structured, good at planning and bring a customer oriented and service oriented mindset.

• Staying up to date on the development of technology is your daily routine.

• Fluency in English, and additional knowledge in Norwegian or German would be a bonus.
