What do you contribute?

  • In your new role, you will be responsible for all commercial tasks within the tender, such as contract analysis, commercial comments or coordination with accounting, as well as the calculation and processing of financing models.

  • You will be responsible for preparing contract documents / tender documents for the submission of tenders, especially for large tenders over EUR 1bn.

  • You will conduct contract negotiations with external and internal customers and coordinate stakeholders, consortium partners and suppliers (internal / external).

  • You will define tax-optimised business models in coordination with the regions.

  • You will be responsible for risk and opportunity management within the scope of the offer.

  • You will create and prepare LoA (Limit of Authority) documents and present these at all management levels.

  • You will be responsible for interface management with a focus on the following groups (Technical Bid Manager, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Schedule), CF Taxes, Accounting, Warranty Department, Currency Risk Management, Insurance Department, ECC, Legal and Compliance, Consortium Partners, Regions, Suppliers and Top Management.

What do you bring along?

  • You hold a master's degree in economics.

  • In addition, you have many years of experience in a commercial project environment within the Siemens Group.

  • You have profound experience of financial reporting guidelines including IFRS and HGB.

  • You are also experienced in sales and negotiations and co-operation between regions and HQ (e.g. transfer pricing). You are no stranger to working out and responding to complex commercial issues.

  • You are an expert in the bidding process and have extensive negotiation experience.

  • You are experienced in project management at senior management level.

  • You have already gained professional management experience.

  • You are experienced in working with international intercultural teams and stakeholders at different hierarchical levels.

  • You are business fluent in written and spoken English.
