In your role as Senior Compliance Professional (f/m/d) for Due Diligences and the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act for Siemens Financial Services and in particular the Equity Business Unit - you will be a trusted advisor to business and respective functions (partners). Based on legal requirements you will further support the development of the Siemens Compliance system as an integral part of a high-performance, global Compliance function. The position requires a high level of dedication and integrity; the function is entrusted with critical and confidential information.

Main Responsibilities

  • You drive the evaluation, improvement and implementation of the Siemens Compliance system in the Business Unit SFS EQ; especially in the fields of Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Trust, Data Privacy, Human Rights Compliance and Export Control

  • You assess Compliance Risks for large, international financing transactions / investments and develop mitigation plans

  • You participate in equity financing transactions in various countries together with the responsible deal team; and support by providing, assessing, and reviewing due diligences financing customers / partners — with a strong focus on all Compliance Activity fields

  • You own the improvement process over the lifecycle of investments in your area of responsibility

  • You are a collaborative teammate, and proactively and optimally work with and support the business, legal, and the Global Siemens Compliance team—while maintaining high compliance and integrity standards

  • You support Compliance Investigations and Audits

  • You advise on content and application of external and internal regulations including but not limited to the German Supply Due Diligence Act for SFS GmbH

  • You are an example of and promote a Compliance and Integrity culture

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent

  • Longterm shown experience as Senior Compliance Professional (f/m/d) passionate about Compliance Risk Management (including classical compliance, financial crimes, and third-party due diligence, case handling) with a proven track record in a multinational company

  • Deep understanding of Compliance in M&A/Investment activities

  • First experience regarding the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

  • High analytical and conceptual skills in combination with a high level of integrity

  • High interest in using new technologies such as ChatGPT, Collaboration Software and Microsoft Apps

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all employees

  • You need inclusive leadership skills with a change and transformation mentality

  • You will need to be proactive, influential, and able to work autonomously in a time-pressure environment

  • Highly self-motivated, adept at handling rapid changes, and proficient in multitasking

  • A growth mindset is one of your strengths

  • English and German proficient; additional language skills are a plus
