Design & Estimation Engineer for Data Centers and Tunnel Automation (PLC Automation)

Join our Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions & Services Business Unit as Estimation and Pre-Sales Engineer and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for an 7 – 12 years of experienced and dedicated Estimation and Proposal Engineer for Data Centers and Tunnel Automation who is ready to make an impact.

• Analyze tender requirements and define the most suitable solution [product, architecture, system] to be used according to the requirements

• Design and engineer the solution down to detail to satisfy the specified project requirements

• Analyze customers’ requirements and project backgrounds in order to better judge on aspects of products and solutions to be used

• Lead technical discussions on BMS, EPMS & FMS Solutions with Customers and Consultants

• Clarify technical topics and liaise with Regional Technical Support and Factory Representatives as necessary

• Ensures smooth handover of projects to Execution Team

• Meet tender submission deadlines and requirements

Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!

Bachelors (B. Tech/B.E.) in Instrumentation/Mechanical/ECE/ECE with relevant work experience of 8+ years.

• Knowledge of Siemens PLC (Simatic Controller family - Standalone– S71200,S7-1500,S7 400 and design redundant System using S7-1500H/R .S7-400H) SCADA( Wincc, TIA, Desigo, Wincc OA etc., IO system(ET200 SP,ET200M,ET200MP), Network Components, Cyber security etc…

• Need to have knowledge on Interfacing with Third party systems/devices thru Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profinet, BACnet, etc… and also need to have knowledge on third party software integration and devices.

• Capable to design data center /Automation architecture

• Familiar with BMS system design and integration with third party panel

• Good Knowledge of IP networking relevant to BMS and network Security

• Highly motivated self-starter, capable of adapting to new and emerging technologies and products

• Have successful track record of estimations of complex Data center Systems

• Self-motivated flexible individual with the ability to work well within a dynamic environment

• Proven communication, public speaking, and presentation skills

• Excellent methodical organizational and documentation skills

• Good team-worker, able to collaborate within a diverse team
