We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager in our global team who will be involved in projects with all factories of Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit around the globe. This role will be responsible for global commercial project support and coordination for localization of parts, components and modules for EA.

You’ll make a difference by

  • Identification of new suppliers by leading and supporting localization activities

  • Driving supplier management (selection/ qualification, evaluation, auditing, development) to gain the best suppliers and guarantee a secure supply chain

  • Implementation of procurement goals according to the global commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-effective supply of materials and monitoring the local market to bring new suppliers into the purchasing portfolio

  • Alignment with local procurement and cross functional organizations

  • Supporting activities such as scheduling, make or buy decisions by taking commercial, technical and quality requirements, preparing ToCo templates for procurement decisions

  • Managing procurement topics like RFQ preparation and execution, driving negotiation of various commodities for example like Mechanical Assemblies, Machined Parts, Castings, Forging, Epoxy parts, Plastics & Rubber molding, etc.

  • Engaging cross-functional teams to achieve a successful execution of the project objectives

  • Supporting on global framework contract and price negotiations to minimize the risks with suppliers

Your defining qualities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) and 3 years of job experience in an industrial environment

  • Basic commercial knowledge, willingness to develop within position is sufficient. Basic knowledge about manufacturing processes is a welcome

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Hungarian and English

  • Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office)

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse international teams and stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach

  • Willingness to travel to supplier premises in Hungary region (Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, etc.)
