What do you contribute?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional IT Head to join our organization. The Regional IT Head will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations and initiatives within Germany. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational management for the IT function.

• You will lead a team of 50 IT professionals - fostering a collaborative, innovative and high-performance work culture.

• Also, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications in Germany while collaborating closely with the IT delivery units.

• You will collaborate with business leaders in Germany to understand their technology needs and align IT initiatives with business objectives.

• In addition, you will ensure the delivery of reliable and secure IT services, including network, hardware, software, and data management.

• Jointly with the functions “Vendor and Licence Management” you will manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance and value for money.

• In addition, you will develop and manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments and resource allocation.

• Next to this, you will act as a point of escalation for IT issues, providing timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders.

What do you bring along?

• You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• In addition, you do have long-term experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations in a regional or multi-site environment combined with a strong technical background and understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.

• You bring in excellent leadership and people management skills, capable of motivating and sculpting a high-performing team.

• Furthermore, you have demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and vendor relationship management.

• Also, you do have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.

• Fluent English language skills round off your profile.
