  • Enabling modern mobility: Join our ‘Mass Transit’ segment - with around 1,000 dedicated employees, we develop and sell innovative systems for local rail transport.

  • Take the lead: As part of a planned age succession, you will take over the management of global sales (‘Business Development & Sales Enablement’) in around 12 months. Until then, you will receive intensive training from your predecessor.

  • Part of the management team: You are an essential part of our management team, reporting directly to the segment head.

  • Sales process responsibility: You will be responsible for all our sales processes with a special focus on customer relationship management.

  • Strategy development and implementation: Together with the management and the sales team, you will derive a resounding international sales strategy from the business strategy and drive its implementation with determination.

  • Target markets and customers: You will define target markets and customers and develop individual country sales strategies to gain market share. You will also develop new business models.

  • Tenders and bids: Together with the bid team, you will coordinate the analysis of tenders and define the bid strategy.

  • Internationality: In order to increase incoming orders, a particular focus of your work will be on supporting and empowering the sales teams in our national companies.

What do you bring along?

  • Academic background: You hold a university degree in a business or engineering field.

  • Professional experience: You have many years of professional experience in sales, business development and sales strategy.

  • Technical expertise: You are experienced in delivering technically complex projects. Ideally, you have experience in the railway industry.

  • Entrepreneurial thinking: You are an agile, entrepreneurial personality who enjoys working on business cases and developing new business models.

  • Team player: You thrive in international and intercultural teams.

  • Language skills: For your role with global responsibilities, you have very good English language skills.
