Leveraging Digitalization and new technologies is imperative for Siemens to sustain its market leadership. CF A (Controlling and Finance Assurance) as the Corporate Assurance function plays a pivotal role in providing assurance over key risk areas to the Managing Board & Audit Committee of Siemens AG. Within CF A, the Digitalization and IT Audit team (CF A DIT) works on key technology and strategic risk areas and creates impact by exploring bold questions around digitalization, new technologies (e.g., blockchain), trustworthy AI and complex IT projects.

CF A DIT is spread over four different locations (Germany, Portugal, USA and China) and works as one global team.

CF A is uniquely set up as a global talent incubator and offers the unique opportunity to work on projects involving in multiple businesses, functional areas, and geographies. This position helps you build a global professional network within the Company, which is invaluable when you embark on your next role (and eventually to leadership roles) within Siemens.

How will you contribute?

Lead the Digitalization and IT Assurance team in China(3-4 technical experts) and be part of the DIT and CF A global leadership team. This will come with the following opportunities to contribute:

Risk identification/ audit engagement

§ Identify global/ local technology risks with significant business impact

§ Demonstrate thought leadership on at least one such technology risk area

§ Lead global and local audits covering such complex technology risks

Leading teams

§ Manage team members on career development aspects

§ Be an ambassador of CF A’s agile approach on audit engagements

Influencing senior stakeholders

§ Engage with and influence Senior Management stakeholders to drive change through audits

Who are we looking for?

§ You have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience within a global technology company or professional services consulting/ assurance firm.

§ You have a strong academic history with ideally a graduate degree (minimum) in Information Technology or otherwise in Business.

§ You have hands-on experience in managing or leading technology topics such as cloud computing, blockchain, agile IT development, complex IT transformation projects, digitalization strategy etc.

§ You enjoy breaking down complex topics/ problems into smaller easily understandable and solvable parts.

§ You like interacting with people and have excellent executive presence to communicate with and influence Senior Management and inspire teams.

§ You are fluent in speaking/ writing in English.

§ You are open to work in a hybrid work environment – with a healthy mix of on-site and remote working, including up to 30-50% international or domestic travel.
