We are looking for: Test Automation Expert

Technical Expertise:

• Design, develop, and implement automation test cases and libraries and reuse components based on the Spectrum Power platform.

• Involve in test scenario identification, grouping of scenarios, authoring and reviewing test cases.

• Assist team members with engineering and software development for technical user stories.

• Analyze issues and implement effective resolutions.

• Troubleshoot specific stakeholder needs and deliver customized fixes.

• Prior knowledge and experience in performance and scalability (sizing) testing.

Best Practices and Risk Management:

• Promote software engineering and test automation best practices.

• Identify and manage risks during project delivery.

• Estimate, develop, deliver on requirements.

• Negotiate with stakeholder to address their specificneeds.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

• Proficiency in Solaris/Windows/Unix/Linux OS, Python, Java, Oracle PL/SQL.

• Knowledge of automation tools like Squish, Selenium, Appium.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in developing test automation scripts, frameworks, and software development.

• Strong communication skills to present and convey technical information clearly.

Leadership in Test Automation (Preferred, not mandatory):

• Provide leadership in a group of automation testing experts in a global team over multiple time zones.

• Collaborate with various groups within Siemens (PMs, Architects, Domain teams) to meet business and project objectives.

• Lead technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.

Additional Experience (Preferred, not mandatory):

• Experience with SCADA systems, mission-critical systems, or Network Grid Control Centers software.

• Usage of generative AI tools like Github Copilot for improving development and automation efficiency.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
