We are looking for: Lead Software Engineer (C++, Linux).

· Provide R&D application development and technical leadership for Spectrum Power Energy Management System.

· Collaborate with various groups within Siemens (project management, technical teams) to meet R&D delivery needs.

· Lead technical aspects of requirement design implementation, OSS clearance, patch management to ensure timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.

· Technical Expertise:

· Assist project team members with engineering and software development for enhancements and defect fixing.

· Analyze issues and implement effective resolutions.

· Design, develop, and implement technical solutions based on Spectrum Power platform.

· Perform testing and create documentation for Grid Control Applications.

· Best Practices and Risk Management:

· Promote software engineering best practices.

· Identify and manage risks during project delivery.

· Estimate, develop, deliver, and support project enhancements.

· Negotiate with stakeholders to address their specific needs.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

· Strong proficiency in Solaris/Windows/Unix/Linux OS, C/C++, Java, Oracle PL/SQL, Python, and JBoss.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum of 10 years of technical software engineering experience in product and solutions development.

· Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly.

· Additional Experience (Preferred):

· Software development (C/C++, Java, Python, XML).

· Experience with SCADA systems, mission-critical systems, or Network Grid Control Centers software.

· Power System Modeling (CIM, UML).

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
