We are looking for a Lead Research Engineer

You’ll break new ground by:

Being Part of a Research and Development team, you will architect, design, and develop prototypes and technology demonstrators with a very high quality to tackle contemporary and emerging critical business challenges related to Industrial Edge, Edge Computing, HMI Panels, SCADA Solutions etc. Following are (but not limited to) your core business expectations:

  • Architecture: Architect end-to-end solutions for our customers as well as business units

  • Research: Bring your ideas related to the relevant fields, file Patents

  • Hands-On: Work hands-on on developing prototypes

  • Customer Centricity: Optimally implement projects, accurately analyzing requirements by constant discussion with customers.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • Master/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in software development with a strong grasp of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, GO, C++, Java).

  • Proficient in data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience in software design and architecture.

  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Experience in testing, maintaining, and launching software products.

  • Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) or IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).

  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular and/or React.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

  • Excellent communication and partnership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Edge Computing.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle
