As a Senior Product Manager at Siemens ITS , you will be helping to shape our product portfolio as a product owner of our traffic control products for North America. You will help to guide the success of these products throughout the entire product life-cycle, from inception to end-of-life.
To meet this challenge you will need the ability to understand the complex needs of the managing agencies, forge supporting relationships in the industry, and compose that into strategy that can be communicated to the innovators and developers that will bring it to reality. You will be part of the US-based business for Siemens ITS global, while being a member of the global Product Life-Cycle Management (PLM) team for Siemens ITS worldwide.

Supporting our existing flagship products through identifying market needs, and insuring the product meets the desires of the customers.
Working with our regional distributors and our internal sales and marketing team to develop the successful sales strategy and product pricing.
Developing the necessary business cases, research, and supporting analysis to insure that the product roadmaps supports the company financial targets and forecast.
Working with end-users to support customer outreach.
Functioning as the product owner for the team of experts and professionals that will be realizing these products.
Supporting the Siemens Global PLM initiatives to insure continuity with the corporation for the global product portfolio.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Knowledge of traffic industry, traffic control, and traffic management methodologies.
Experience in traffic controller programming, and implementation of timing plans.
Knowledge of necessary business principals to support the Key Responsibilities
BS/BA in a related discipline, MBA preferred.
Typically 3+ years of successful PLM experience and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Strong Analytical skills
Strong and clear communication skills, fostering collaboration with customer, distributors, sales, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Professional Engineering (PE) Certification
10+ years in related experience Traffic Industry
