Position Overview:

You will be a key member team, ensuring that production operations are ready to go at the scheduled start of production optimally utilizing lean methodologies to meet or exceed performance standards.The responsibility will be focusing on the Israel Depot but also overseeing the support of future locations and will ensure successful ramp-ups, ongoing production, and continuous improvement.

Develop schedule management and structure, taking the project requirements into account (e.g. structuring, data integration, reporting, etc.) and considering the common schedule management regulations (process, methods and tools) set by the Main contractor.

You will:

  • Define reporting intervals for update and schedule management.

  • Identify project deadlines in call to tender and contract documents in collaboration with the project managers and specialist functions.

  • Develop individual schedules and integrate them into an overall schedule including representation of the critical path.

  • Record and coordinate relevant internal and external schedule interfaces, taking into account any contractual requirements in the schedule.

  • Regulate schedules with regular monitoring of deadline compliance, project progress and updating the schedule in good time.

  • Prepare schedule analyses (scenarios, critical path, buffers, etc.). To devise possible solutions in cases of any delay in the project together with the project and specialist functions.

  • Properly initiate escalation measures where schedule/forecast/actual deadline non-conformities occur and where substantial and repeated violation of the defined schedule updating process occurs.

  • Prepare reports in order to support projects and specialist departments with schedule management.

  • Identify customer schedules, reports and associated documents.

  • Be an expert in using schedule management methods and tools. To properly initiate escalation measures where binding regulations for schedule management are not adhered to.

  • Take part in project meetings, discussions with internal and external partners (customers, consortium partners, suppliers, other BUs, etc.).

  • Regularly back up schedules and filing in accordance with project requirements and relevant guidelines.

  • Map business processes in a logical and timely manner and to support the relevant managers with resource management.

  • Provide support with preparing financial forecasts along with assessing and providing evidence on claims against third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Equivalent proven experience will be considered instead of higher degree)

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Highly proficient in ERP/ MSprojects

  • Expert in advanced Excel (Macros, conditional logics and other advanced excess skills)

  • Practical experience using sophisticated Factory Planning Methods such as defining high-level manufacturing plans, identifying/analyzing new technologies required, crafting a value stream analysis, performing total space needs analysis, performing total capacity needs analysis, implementation planning, etc.

  • Practical experience transferring technical knowledge, manufacturing knowledge, and proprietary technologies from lead factories to market factories

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • English in high level – talking and writing
