We are seeking an experienced Test Manager/Senior Tester with a strong background in manual testing to lead our testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing test strategies, and overseeing the execution of testing activities. Additionally, you will be actively involved in hands-on manual testing to contribute to the overall quality assurance process.

Your mission will be…

  • Test Strategy and Planning: Implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and objectives. Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Manual Testing: Utilize your expertise in manual testing to perform functional testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing across various software applications and platforms. Identify defects, document issues, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Test Automation Support: Collaborate with automation testers to define automation strategies, select appropriate tools and frameworks, and oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts. Ensure that automation efforts complement manual testing activities and contribute to overall test coverage and efficiency.

  • Test Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize the Test process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability. Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive initiatives to elevate the quality of deliverables.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to testing activities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery. Communicate risks effectively to project stakeholders and implement proactive measures to address them.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate comprehensive test reports, metrics, and dashboards to provide visibility into testing progress, test coverage, and defect trends. Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and other testing artifacts.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance. Act as a liaison between testing teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities.

We are looking for someone with…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in software testing, with a strong background in manual testing techniques and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, Octane or Azure DevOps.

  • Hands-on experience with manual testing across web and desktop applications.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
