Your mission will be…

Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is using a platform to manage leasing and loan contracts in multiple countries. You will be part of the SFS IT team that is responsible for requirements engineering, coordination of implementation, configuration, and the rollout of changes on that platform, as well as the management of the platform as a service to our business. The team forms the expert knowledge pool in that area, consulting the business and actively bringing in their ideas and solution proposals, both in the service but also in related projects.

As an IT Solution Expert, you will

  • Become an expert for the application, understanding the business functionality and data model including relationships / interfaces to other systems (having an end-to-end process view).

  • Perform and coordinate end-to-end business analysis, requirements engineering and system configuration, support effort estimations and prioritization of changes, training, testing, documentation, and releases.

  • Work closely together with IT architects, service managers, vendors, service integrators, business, and delivery & release management.

  • Provide proactive maintenance and support in conjunction with the support/systems teams, handle incidents and service requests as well as perform application monitoring and reporting.

  • Support related projects throughout their lifetime, with a focus on requirements analysis, creation of designs and system configuration.

  • Perform IT Tests and coordinate business tests upon new releases for the changes, fixes or enhancements that are managed by you.

  • Consult the business for integration of new technologies and process improvements, increasing efficiency for the team, the customer, end users and business profitability.

  • Ensure the systems are compliant and secure, and any changes are performed in accordance with our change management procedures and audit standards.

We are looking for someone with…

  • 2+ years in requirements engineering, application maintenance and/or IT projects, with knowledge of standard change and incident processes (e.g. ITIL).

  • A basic understanding of the IT foundations of an IT landscape (databases, interfaces, IT security).

  • A basic understanding of accounting, payment transactions and management of the involved risks.

  • Analytical mindset, being able to understand complex topics, document them in a structured and easy to understand way and explain them to non-experts.

  • Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders with different domain knowledge, be a team player.

  • Proactiveness, a strong sense of self-motivation, and take end-to-end ownership for quality and results.

  • Consciousness for regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.

  • The ability to work in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.

  • Business-fluent English language skills (speaking and writing).

Although not mandatory, we highly value the following skills:

  • Experience in banking environment.

  • Knowledge of the Alfa CMS system, or proven experience in working with a contract management system.
