We are looking for a Administrator\Engineer for Internet Services which will be part of the bigger COIA (Cloud Optimised Internet Access) team responsible to the everyday operations of managing Siemens Internet Infrastructure.

Good networking knowledge is expected together with adequate communication skills in a multinational environment, to be comfortable working with a technical team as with business users and willing to build bridges between the two.

Your challenge will be…

  • Work with cross-functional technology and design to run and evolve the COIA Cloud Administration daily operations and tools.

  • Manage Siemens Internet IP addresses, Profiles, policies, Users and other cloud configurations.

  • Manage Siemens Internet monitoring solution.

  • Answer to users requests and reporting requirements.

  • Maintain and evolve the monitoring of the Siemens Internet Cloud.

  • Performe L2 Service Desk, escalating Incidents to Siemens Cloud Internet provider.

  • Update Internet Access PAC files.

  • Care about data quality topics to meet the business need.

Does this sound good? Our perfect candidate must have…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, network engineering. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree.

  • Experience with Windows OS and basic experience with Unix OS.

  • Knowledge of IP networks (IPv4, IPv6, routing BGP, OSPF).

  • Knowledge of Network tunneling technologies (GRE, IPSEC).

  • Basic knowledge of monitoring protocols (SNMP, Netflow).

  • Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, Vertica).

  • Knowledge of various network technologies and platforms, as LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, ARP, SD-WAN, Cisco IOS.

  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot network problems effectively in a network operations environment.

  • Maintain knowledge of the service and Service Desk procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Excellent organizational, multi-taskingng, prioritizing and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Interacting with internal clients.

  • Working with global teams.

  • Communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.

  • Solid written and spoken English, C1 or above.

  • Network related certifications (eg. CCNA) are welcome but not mandatory.

  • Experience with CA monitoring solutions (CA PC, NFA, Spectrum) is welcome but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge of Zscaler Cloud technology is welcome but not mandatory.

  • Previous working experience is welcome but not mandatory.
